I remember making bunk beds for my dollhouse dolls out of paint stir sticks, tiny nails, and wood glue.Adrianne Braunhttp://twitter.com/adriannebraunnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8578525033396504580.post-22057842809683372102013-01-10T23:46:07.275-05:002013-01-10T23:46:07.275-05:00I have a set of wooden Melissa and Doug tools, ham...I have a set of wooden Melissa and Doug tools, hammer, screwdriver, wrench with nails, screws, and bolts for my 3 year old. I'd like to get some wingnuts, large bolts, Phillips head screws that were mounted to a board for her to start working with. I think we'll eventually just let her use our adult tools with supervision when she shows interest. I loved learning to woodwork with my grandfather in his basement woodshop!Adrianne Braunhttp://twitter.com/adriannebraunnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8578525033396504580.post-36759899246287074632012-12-26T23:32:54.106-05:002012-12-26T23:32:54.106-05:00Initially bought him pretend Craftsman tools but n...Initially bought him pretend Craftsman tools but now he uses the real thing, and loves going to home depot first Saturday of month.John Zukowskihttp://javajohnz.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8578525033396504580.post-41334114856560090302012-12-26T09:44:46.506-05:002012-12-26T09:44:46.506-05:00a farm would be cool (barn, silo, pasture etc)a farm would be cool (barn, silo, pasture etc)beyondnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8578525033396504580.post-42546507045007871072012-12-26T09:43:09.094-05:002012-12-26T09:43:09.094-05:00my son has no tools yet. he's too young. but i...my son has no tools yet. he's too young. but i hope he'll learn to use tools at an early age...beyondnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8578525033396504580.post-6161368183880310462012-12-25T00:47:32.925-05:002012-12-25T00:47:32.925-05:00A tree house or cottage would be awesome.A tree house or cottage would be awesome.Giannanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8578525033396504580.post-55388197849293391602012-12-25T00:46:44.639-05:002012-12-25T00:46:44.639-05:00I have toy ones so far (plastic).. nothing real ju...I have toy ones so far (plastic).. nothing real just yet.Giannanoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8578525033396504580.post-38122818497188753452012-12-21T16:36:27.994-05:002012-12-21T16:36:27.994-05:00I would definitly have them build a treehouse! We have a tool set from sams and they bang around the house with them waking up the baby! They also have a truck that came with a screwdriver and screws that they can take apart. At my mother in laws house they love to drill screws into a wood board! I wish I knew about these when my son first got his "workshop" I think it would have made a difference but I'm recharged just by looking at that hammer. BTW, my husband spent less than $50 making that workshop. I have no idea how he did it but hopefully, my son will be making me a box to hold more of my piles of unfiled but important paper.Jenn_Choinoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8578525033396504580.post-48339529715672149812012-12-21T13:44:49.349-05:002012-12-21T13:44:49.349-05:00My son loves building and last year Santa brought ...My son loves building and last year Santa brought him a real tool chest full of real tools. I can't say he's used them a ton, but we don't have a shed and I don't like them used in the house which is a big problem. I wish I had known about this last year - the treasure box would've been a great project.Deehttp://argonnechronicles.blogspot.com/noreply@blogger.com
