I work with preschoolers who love trying new things, but often get frustrated and quit if it doesn't work. This looks like a great autobiography of someone who created something fun and functional.Amy Bnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8578525033396504580.post-38913832368245626852012-11-23T03:18:48.825-05:002012-11-23T03:18:48.825-05:00Reminds me of my Mom telling us stories of when sh...Reminds me of my Mom telling us stories of when she was little and would watch the parade . They loved Ms. Sweet's illustrations and wonderful story about Tony Sarg. As they left for Thanksgiving Break they couldn't wait to see the Thanksgiving Day Parade and tell their families how the parade began. I think there were more than a few of them thinking about what they might invent to get out of doing chores at home.Martynoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8578525033396504580.post-91503649642093321952012-11-22T00:13:29.103-05:002012-11-22T00:13:29.103-05:00this book looks delightful.this book looks delightful.beyondnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8578525033396504580.post-23494091878198114672012-11-21T18:00:25.746-05:002012-11-21T18:00:25.746-05:00I wonder what will happen to the balloons with the...I wonder what will happen to the balloons with the helium shortage? I have such fond memories of the Detroit Thanksgiving Parades (the 2nd oldest next to Macy's), and I always loved the floats.Adrianne Braunhttp://www.facebook.com/adrianne.braunnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8578525033396504580.post-81636895140169690002012-11-21T10:49:32.652-05:002012-11-21T10:49:32.652-05:00This book is amazing. I love that it shows my daughter that the projects and art she creates today could end up turning up bigger than she ever imagines.Katie Woolsnoreply@blogger.com
