Tall Stacker Mighty Monkey Playset by Lauri

TOY FAIR 2012 PREVIEWS......
WHAT: Tall Stacker Mighty Monkey Playset by Lauri
WHEN: Spring 2012
DOES: you have to build a playground- and you can build it in your own way - that's exciting; think make-believe play skills meet spatial-relation challenges, I bet it's not easy as it looks and that's a good thing.
INVEST: $29.99
TOOLS: Tools will be identified after we do a review.

It was the end of my very first day at my very first Toy Fair.  I was about to pass out but I found the  Lauri  booth (Patch Products, Smethport too) and I had to go in.   Lauri  has products for older kids but I connect with their toddler products the most because if you might recall, I said that you find very few toys toys that are suggested for 2-year-olds. It just makes me crazy and my kids are not that little anymore.  Some companies usually list 18-36 months which is incredulous to me since that is like saying ages 18 - 35 years.  A lot can happen during that time.

Okay, I'm exaggerating but seriously Lauri does make toys that say "2 years old" and I have always been grateful for that. So when I was literally on my last fading bar of energy, I crawled in their booth, not being able to resist the chance to reminisce over Number 1's early days of visual and spatial curiosity.  A very nice woman came to talk to me and I told her that I'm only here to fawn over the baby toys but I don't write about baby toys and then she showed me this playset!  I wish it was around when my kids were three but something tells me that both Number 1 (8) and Number 2 (5) are going to love it!

  1. We love tall stackers just on their own! In fact, I am staring at a creation right now... Tyler enjoys them more now as he can plan, as opposed to just stack.... I will definitely buy this new one for the slides... the monkeys, maybe not that exciting on their own...

I love on add on that makes an old favorite come back for even more fun... More add ons please!
