Toy Fair 2013: Curious About Laser Pegs

Connect the blocks and watch them light up. I wonder how many pegs are in here.

WHAT:
Laser Pegs
Curious About: Pegs shaped like Lego bricks but all of them light up.  Light source is easy to connect.  Attachments to cars include batteries to make the cars GO!  Another update (coming soon) to their already existing app will allow kids to create their own models on a computer/tablet and then print out the directions to build it.  Very exciting.

These are so cool.  My kids were fighting over the sample they gave me.  Had to go back the next day to beg for another one to prevent war at home.
There is both a white and black line of products.  Their latest packaging looks super sleek.

They are sold at Target too!

Each kit comes with directions on how to build different models.

Sorry So Sloppy Note: To bring you as many images as possible, I've decided to skip writing estimated availability dates and prices.  I'd feel awful if I made a mistake.  Feel free to leave a question in the comments box and I'll try my best to get it answered.  Also, look through the company website as well since some products are already available.  Sorry So Sloppy. Hope you understand!

Want it now on Amazon?  At the time of publication, I found some to be on Amazon.  Here is my link to one of them- Support thoughtful toy reviews!:

  2. we just got a set of these and the 6 year old loves them. they are great fun for free play / improvised building. the "kit" projects are kind of dull and i bet that the people using them who like doing kit projects aren't all that happy with them. they don't work perfectly - there are little connection problems here and there - but nothing major. i'd guess that they aren't that interesting for the 8+ crowd. i think 6 is a very good age - old enough to run with the concept and not old enough to get bored with it.
