Toy Fair 2013: Curious About ThinkFun

Word A Round is VERY COOL.  Who thinks up such amazing games.  Seriously.  This is a big winner.  I love word games that uses cognitive flexibility and encourages lots of mental movement.  To me, this means that kids who don't like to read may very well like this game....
  WHAT: ThinkFun
Curious About: Word A Round, Hello Sunshine, Math Dice Powers Practice, Laser Maze, Swish Jr. and so much more...

Hello Sunshine teaches phrases that include words like IN, UNDER, ON TOP OF, BEHIND... but they do this in an active, fun, kinesthetic way... is there any better way for a growing toddler? I love this.

If I had an award to give for coolest game of the Toy Fair....this would probably take the cake. My son flipped when he saw a picture of this logic game.  If you solve it, it will light up with lasers!  But it ain't out yet.... gotta wait for this one. RATS!!!!!!!!!!!!  This was created by Luke Hooper, one of the inventors of Laser Khet.

I REALLY LOVED SWISH (Senior) and now that there is a JUNIOR version, I am even more thrilled.  Swish for everyone!

There are so many games. The other side of this wall is covered with even more.
I remember when doing squared numbers in school gave me stress, but here's a game that lets you practice with friends in a fun way. Love the dice!

The toughest part of sending games to my son's classroom is that there is never enough for everyone and I have even had one returned to me because there was too much fighting.  But here is something that your child's teacher can REALLY USE. There is enough for everyone here to think fun as a group. (Check out the label- "Education Games" but to me they are just "Classroom-Ready" Games)

Sorry So Sloppy Note: To bring you as many images as possible, I've decided to skip writing estimated availability dates and prices.  I'd feel awful if I made a mistake.  If you are curious about something, send me a message or leave a comment here.  Also, look through the company website as well since some products are already available. Hope you understand!

  1. ThinkFun is my favorite (and when they donated Hurricane Sandy toys, that sealed the deal). PLEASE tell us when the Laser Khet comes out. Wow! Anything that gives a "reward" when you get it right, it perfect for Tyler!
