Toy Fair 2013: Robots Rock!

I remember the first time I saw Cubelets.  David Wells who is frequently quoted here, had sent me a link.  Cubelets uses principles of biomimicry to program the robots actions. (sound sensitive, light sensitive, heat sensitive, etc..)

WHAT: Robots Are Better Than Ever in 2013
Curious About:  Cubelets, Sphero, Romo

I am curious to see what Romotive can do.  Can it turn itself into a dog and eat my kid's homework.

I think this is so neat.. Who ever thought a robotic ball could even useful or fun but it so is.  Because the shape is a sphere, in a way, I can see that the possibilities for Sphero are limitless.  Sphero will also be coming out with more educational apps later this year but I think just playing around with the Sphero is educational in itself.  There is nothing else like it!

This is the robot that really encourages programming and planning... That's what I have heard lfrp, other parents about this robot by SmartLab
Start saving.. NOW!  LEGO Mindstorms EV3- due late this year.
This robot is so awesome, it doesn't even require electricity.  From HQ Kites and Designs. (Sleddy and Air Glider)

Sorry So Sloppy Note: To bring you as many images as possible, I've decided to skip writing estimated availability dates and prices.  I'd feel awful if I made a mistake.  If you are curious about something, send me a message or leave a comment here.  Also, look through the company website as well since some products are already available.  Sorry So Sloppy. Hope you understand!

Want it now on Amazon?  At the time of publication, I found some links to share with you.  Please note, this is not the full product line. But if you use my link, you'll be supporting Toys are Tools!
